STUDY AREA

The 14th Street Bridge Corridor serves as a main gateway into the nation’s Capital and is also a critical commuter link for rail, transit, and automobile users. The Corridor provides important access for sports, entertainment, public, political, and parade events on the National Mall, Constitution Avenue, Capitol Grounds, Lincoln Memorial, Verizon Center, RFK Stadium, East Potomac Park, and the Potomac River.

The study area encompasses some of the nation's most important and well-known landmarks, historic sites, and government buildings, along with various recreational parks and museums.
